It feels like distant history, but there was a time when Infiniti had an edge. Premium sedans with Z-car power; V8 crossovers when the style was still a cool, alternative pick; and a credible performance identity to contrast Lexus’ and Acura’s relative conservatism. That wasdistant history, though.
